I often get pruney fingers while doing dishwashing. So, to avoid this hassle, I use latex gloves which is a good solution. As my last pair was worn out, I tried to look for another one. This time, I chose a local brand in Canada, which is called Compliments, to have a try. It is a brand that is commonly seen in many grocery chains such as IGA, Fresco, and so forth, which were all under a company (group) called Empire.
Below are the pros and cons based on my personal experience:
Pros:
- This pair of gloves is not that expensive compared to other renowned brands.
- It is comfy.
- Another thing that I like is the description on the back of its package. There is a picture that allows you to measure your hand size so that you won’t choose the wrong size at the grocery store.
- The gloves are thick enough which is critical when you are doing heavy work.
Cons：
- Hot water would damage the gloves. This has been tested many times by me as I’ve used up at least three pairs because of touching the hot water. So, be aware of that. Usually, when they are in hot water, the fingertip parts would start to crack. I actually didn’t even notice it until I felt water in it, lol.

After getting the third pair from them, I got an interesting one. One of the cuffs is not open. It might be a manufactural issue but not that serious as I can use scissors to cut it through.
